The City is exploring opportunities to redevelop the Kyle Centre Campus. The primary desired element is a new Kyle Community Centre. In addition, other desired elements include an affordable housing component and a cultural plaza. To help off-set the cost of new civic amenities, the City will consider the lease of a portion of its lands in the campus for market housing. The City will also consider the redevelopment of adjacent private lands to higher densities in exchange for a financial contribution towards redevelopment of the campus.
